Fellow blender users!! I need your advice

I'm no modeler, and I'm taking a guess here, but are you having problems getting the nif file into blender? There's a script package which adds nif importing to blender.

The link has all the resources you need including blender, python, PyFFI and the nif scripts. Apparently, the nif scripts aren't compatible with blender 2.5+ or newer so 2.49 is the latest you can use. It also has install instructions which need to be followed.

Just tried all of the nif files in the archive.  All of them import just fine when using only "Realign Bone Tail Only" and "Merge Skeleton Roots" settings on import.  Using Blender v249, PyFFI v2.1.7, NIF scripts v2.5.5, Python26.

Edit: it's possible that you're just seeing super-long import times: the larger files take about 3-5 minutes to import on my machine.
