Sexout + TTW and MO questions

Fallout 4 Hype!

 

Anyway, time to get fallout one more good run. A decided to go with TTW and MO install procedures are a bit cryptic on their site. Anyone have used it?

 

Second, last time I tried to mod F:NV extensively I always had CTDs at ~15 min. interval. Now, with TTW, adult mods, texture mods and several others (mostly WMX and AWOP) I wonder how stable it will be?

 

Lastly, I can not wrap my head about installing UI mods with MO (quite a shame for experienced Skyrim and Oblivion user). Any help is greatly appreciated.

Funny you should start this topic, I'm trying to install TTW right now through Mod Organizer.  I tried zipping the 2 FOMM files and using the MO directly to install but it froze.  I know the page cautions that it will freeze but this was for over a half hour.  So then I tried using the archived FOMM and loading it into the FOMM from here that is merged with MO but I'm still waiting for the unzipped FOMM version to copy over to My Downloads folder.  I'll know soon if it works or not.

 

You HAVE to use the 4Gig mod to run your game, you can install that through your MO.

In MO just click 'install new mod from archive' then double click the two FOMODS that the TTW installer made one at a time. No need to zip them together, and that might be the issue.

Just rename the Main and Optionals folders in the installer output directory  to TTW Main and TTW Options and drop them in MO / Mods.

I am probably going to enrage the entire community now, but i am going to ask it anyway: Why bother installing via Mod manager? The way TTW is made is that is hardly impacts the new vegas world: I personally built the files, and copy/pasted them into my fnv folder: It worked fine after setting correct load order, and i managed to load up a save i made pre TTW.

 

Of course: i am a mod user with horrible practices, so anything i advice should be used with caution

I'm also a bit interested in whether the mods (sexout etc) from F:NV will work with ttw.

They do work, also I would recommend putting the esm/bsa of the main game into the data folder instead of MO.
