Dawnguard "Bloodline" quest wont start

I REQUIRE ASSISSTANCE!

 

I have no clue what is going on with this quest. I finish Awakening fine as I free Serana, but upon completion It just doesn't start.  I have no mods touching any of the of the quest lines and serana is vanilla aside from a small mod of me removing the annoying zombie spell she has.

 

Anyone have any ideas? or console commands to debug this?

So, you freed Serana, did she ask you to escort her to Castle Volkihar, or did she stand around like a bump on a log?  I'm going to assume that you really dont have any mods affecting this quest line, or vamps in general.  You can force the quest to start with console command: setstage DLC1VQ02 05

 

If you force it, you may have to force other stages.

That's the normal option there and it *should* work for you.

 

IF it doesn't, I just got through fighting with a similar problem where first Awakening and then Bloodline were screwed up.  Oddly enough, I traced it back to the Extended UI mod (it was screwing with my console commands also).  I don't now if it was conflicting with one of the few other mods I had in my test bed profile on MO or what...  Dawnguard works for me now though.

It unfortunately didn't work . even when I used the wiki to find the exact id the quest just doesn't start. Ill try to deactivate all my mods ant reactive them one at a time to find which is the culprit.

 

Oh and I forgot to mention where the quest ended. I activate the monolith. Serana stumbles out, we talk, she asks me to bring her home and that's it. I can ask her to come with me, she agrees, and idles....and of course no quest started.

Does anyone know of any debug mods that can force the bloodline quest start?
