Can anyone make a fairly accurate guess whether the difference between the inner structures of Skyrim's and F4's engines would be small enough to permit an easy adaptation of SexLab and those SL mods not depending on Skyrim content (just the various frameworks, basically)?

In other words: how long would it take for the modding community to recreate quite stable SL-type mods for Fallout 4?

I personally am interested in the continuation of mods such as BeeingFemale, Spouses Enhanced and Working Girl, among others.

Spouses Enhanced will probably be problematic if there is be no vanilla marriage framework, but something similar could be made for followers featuring a romance questline (vanilla or mod-made).

BeeingFemale relies on bones in the HDT-supporting skeletons to handle the visual aspects of pregancy. With the knowledge I have of programming, I think ripping out the female cycle and pregnancy code should be a piece of cake, though. I prefer BF a lot to the simpler mods, as it can be extensively reconfigured (separate pregnancy chances for the PC, NPCs and Follower NPCs; option to disable cycles for each of the already mentioned groups; configurable durations for e v e r y t h i n g).

Finally - a quality prostitution mod. I've got ideas on how to turn Working Girl and Radiant Prostitution into Advanced Prostitution, bud those are just dreams. What would seriously make a big impact, however, is if player prostitution was seamlessly integrated via possible player houses (independent prostitute), inns (think Nova at Moriarty's), outside (cheap whore - would have concequences if my Advanced Prostitution ideas were implemented).

HDT or Bullet physics and 3D genitalia would also be a big plus.

I'm just glad to have a new game coming out that's based in one of Bethesda's "worlds", that I don't have to get online to actually play. Yea (I'll probably get shot for saying this) ESO is ok. There's a lot to do. It's pretty. The game play is a bit ... wonky.

I like the single player stuff more. Mostly it was Skyrim, then I found Oblivion when I bought the Anthology.

Then a friend gifted me New Vegas on Steam and I was gone. I love Fallout. I'm so excited :3

As long as I have my boob n butt mods, lighting, weather, and ENB? I'm a happy girl.

I think apart from having the freedom to mod Beth games at a large scale, one of the things that really draws me to Fallout apart from the post-apocalypse is the 50s music era. I used to sing along to the songs in Fallout 3 and really enjoy them. Music I never listened to as a kid. Music I've come to appreciate because they are so simple to understand with a good tune. They really brought two and two together and it really brings out the best of the Fallout world. I hope they always continue to deliver great songs from those era in future titles.

I think both Bethesda and Obsidian a little overused the 50s style in their version of Fallout games, which kind of overshadowed the fact that these events are supposed to take place in our future. I've often felt like I was in a 50's movie while playing FNV. It wasn't the case for the first two games. I also don't understand Bethesda's obsession with The Ink Spots songs that sound like "Maybe". FO2 didn't have that, neither did FNV.

Cool, thanks Bruce, was so sick checking of all the multiple threads I'd lost interest :)

I love the 50's theme. It's what makes Fallout so unique.

Regarding Bethesda's "love" for The Ink Spots, the lyrics of those songs just add that proper "insult to injury" when you hear "I~ don't want to set the wo~rld on~ fire~..." blasting from an old bus whose battery got a shock and came back to life.

Hey, there are plenty of other songs on the radio stations, too.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion. I think that if Fallout lacked The Ink Spots, Bob Crosby and other bands from that era, it would no longer qualify as Fallout (or it would be a spin-off in a European setting).

Yeah, the music. But coming back to Fallout with a late purchase of FNV after years of not playing FO3 and getting used to more modern games with drastically more modern engines and tech killed the Fallout experience for me. Except that FNV lacked that post-apocalyptic feel of FO3 (or the previous Fallouts, for that matter) for me, I also missed the newer freedom of movement and fluid animations. Coming to FNV in late 2014 was a blast from the past where there was suddenly no vaulting or sprinting, and recoil was... weird.

Still I think of FO 3 fondly to this day, but I have a hybrid opinion on the future of Fallout. They should never get rid of the Pip-Boy and the music and cars, but I think the new freedoms explored by other games should be embraced, like sprinting, partial reload (see the most iconic of Metro shotguns), knife throwing, and a bit of parkour in the sense of vaulting stuff and climbing walls.

Whoop Whoop! Time for another $60 rushed lackluster heavily mod reliant product with tons of overpriced lackluster DLC. YEAH BABY! YEAH!

But other than the usual expectations for a typical Bethesda product I fear it will have another terrible plot like New Vegas. Yet if the player is voiced, it will at least probably be less boring. Just hoping for voice options like Bioware does with Dragon Age.

Also hoping we're not stuck in yet another desert, that was sooooo dull. The Capital Wasteland had more detail and life, even though it's a wasteland. For their claim of 'next gen' open world. They better step it up a notch.

I honestly think they didn't do enough 50s style in Fallout;  They missed out on a lot of the better early modernist and futurist designs that were common in the 1920s through to the 1950s - though there was a hint of Art Deco in the vaults and some of the buildings.  I hope they're able to explore a bit more design in the Fallout 4 assets. :P

Well tonight around 10pm eastern I'll be watching the live stream. Hoping I don't have to stay u till 4am to see Fallout 4 coverage. Just want to see it in action to decide if it's really going to be worth it. Will it truly be the 'next gen' open world like it claims in the description.

Never been so hyped about a game ever. :D

If they get modding tools right Fallout 4 sounds like it's going to be the best one ever based on the feature spam alone.

The customization of weapons, customization of power armor, VATS improvement, character editor, voiced player of both genders, dog companion, the world, the combat overhaul, the animations, the ability to make your own settlement, the ability to build structures, the different dialogue choices, flying in the Vertibird and shooting the guns on it, the mass amount of freedom.

(I never orgasmed before from excitement.)

Anyways.... >.>

I'm going to go work up the $60 to preorder. Never once in my life have I ever been so excited for something, not a game, not a chance to see boobs, not getting to meet a sports player, nothing has ever gotten me like this in my 20 years of life. Damn.

OMG! OMG! OMFG!!!!!!!!

I took a closer look at the Pipboy in game. Under the STATS heading, there were three tabs. Status, Special (which we saw), Perks.

Where are my skills at, please, i'm very concerned. Very, very, concerned they went with the Skyrim route. God, I hope not, I really want to keep this boner going.

Well apart from the game looking like it was made to come out four or five years ago, the only thing i really didn't like was the voiced PC, hopefully there will an option to turn that off even tho i have a hard time seeing how that could work smoothly without making the dialog feel (for the lack of a better word) halved.

I both hated and loved the voiced PC myself, I love how much more interactive the story and dialogue is going to feel but I hate how difficult is to get mods that feel apart of the game now - seriously though the character creation and introduction scenes had me laughing my head off.

I hate the dialogue interface, it looked like it came straight out of a Bioware game.
