Crossbows!

Hi. Do you guys know about any good crossbow (and bolts, if possible) mods so I can have them in any material and working with PerMa (except the faction crossbows mod)?

Crossbows Basic Collection at the Nexus.   Just about every crossbow you could want.

 

The Lustmord Vampire Armor also has a pretty cool looking gothic themed crossbow,   Oh and here's the Sevenbase version if you use that body

 

 

EDIT:  I swear I'm going to learn NifSkope & 3dMax just so I can overhaul the look of a few of those Crossbow Basic Collection crossbows though.  If you look at some of them, they're just mashed together other weapons of the same material.  It especially shows with the glass crossbow.  Clever use of existing assets, but...

I didn't look at the integration mod, sorry! That's pretty cool, but also scary to know everyone will use crossbows (they're pretty deadly in PerMa).

No idea honestly.  They can be improved, I remember that much.  I *think* they can be crafted too.  Compatibility with other mods though, I dunno.

 

Not very helpful I know, but I figured even that replay was better than none.   It may encourage somebody who does know to reply also.

Not very helpful I know, but I figured even that replay was better than none.   It may encourage somebody who does know to reply also.

 

 

Going by the mod page, they can indeed be crafted anywhere, but the enhanced versions are only available after dawnguard.

 

I would imagine it would be handled by PerMa's reproccer. If not, they can just ask on the reproccer page for a compatibility patch as they're usually pretty good on doing so.

PCaPP had my back! I just tried it, and after using reproccer, everything worked perfectly, warforged versions, arbalest, bolts... Just letting you know!

Fair warning btw...  Forgot to mention this earlier, but the Crossbow Basic Collection does include leveled lists.  Nice when they drop as loot, but it sucks when you have a bandit Marauder sniping at you with a Glass Crossbow, lol
