Follower's appearance to player's character.

Is there a way to do it? I have a follower I really like, but don't like followers, so I'd prefer my character to look like it instead. How can I achieve it?

and this is why I'm sad I'm using ningheim D: Can't port most followers faces on them because they'll look messed up.
Can someone tell me about a race mod I could use that can use the same faces as most followers? (I'm guessing most of them are imperial or nord. :7)

Same issue I have, I can't make a decent looking character to save my life and every time I've tried alternate actors or mimic plugin it never copies properly and I wind up with some mangled mutant version of my beautiful followers... makes me want to cry lol.

You should edit the custom race the follower is using to allow the proper selection in racemenu. I answered a similar doubt a few days ago, just change the custom head mesh of your follower to something like "allraceminusbeast", save it and load that mesh before applying the racemenumimic spell.
