SCC Key Binding Problems

Okay so I recently downloaded SCC - Sharing and Caring Companions but I have some problems right off the bat.

It seems that when I have the mod on, the key bindings get all messed up and my essential keys like "E - Use" and "R - Reload" as well as "Mouse 1 - Shoot" are utterly useless.

I've tried remapping the keys entirely but the problems still arise even with the new keys.

I've looked ALL OVER the place but I've come with no solutions, so I guess it's time to make my own thread.

Has anybody ever come across this problem? Any fixes?
