How can I turn off the hud?

Im making a fan fiction work for a blog post here, but while I wont be filling it with images because I dont have that kind of time, I do want to take a few pictures of the character and whatnot for each chapter, preferably without the HUD.  How can I turn it off for screenshots?

Use the console command "TM" to turn it on and off.

I actually have to type it twice the first time to get it to work for me, but hey, it does work.

"DPC" makes it disappear. (disable player controls)

"EPC" to make it come back.

or turn opacity down to 0 in the options menu.

I agree with Suludi, just use that mod and you can turn off everything and then turn it back on with a single button click. You won't have to mess with the command lines and once installed you can change back and forth between having and not having a hud quickly and easily.

I use the TM console command since I have to use the console to get the free cam (TFC) and change field of view (FOV <add view angle here>) anyway. So it's not like you're doing anything too tough or wasting any time.

The new version ov "SkyTweak" does that.

Well it's your choice, but I wouldn't install some plugin to toggle on and off my HUD when I can use console command tm to do it for me. Waste of load order space when I can reserve that for something more useful. But if iHUD is your thing, use it. It has it's uses.
