Well I'm at a loss.

I have severe neck and wrist seams on female characters but the crazy thing is they appear even in a completely unmodded vanilla game. I uninstalled all mods, deleted everything related to Skyrim including the old prefs and NMM settings. Then I did a complete reinstall as well as validating the cache and still the seams appear.

I have honestly no idea how to fix this.

That particular neckseam looks like a texture mis-match.

Try installing CBBE to see if it fixes it. ONLY CBBE. NO other body or texture mods.

I already tested CBBE only as well as UNP only. The seams appear on them as well as the vanilla body.

The picture is from a completely unmodded game btw.

That doesn't look like it's unmodded. The facial structure and makeup looks like that provided by Better Females by Bella.

I deleted my Skyrim folder and everything else when I uninstalled/reinstalled the game. Where the heck are the offending textures hiding?

Did you run a temporary file cleaner (Like CCleaner) after uninstallation, and restart your PC?

How did you delete the folder. Manually, or with Steam?

Did you check the install location AFTER the uninstall to make sure that there were no loose files left over?

Yea I ran CC cleaner.

I unistalled it through Steam then deleted the left over files manually.

There was nothing left in the install location after uninstalling.

Then I have no solution. It looks like texture mismatches to me, and the only solution to that particular problem is textures left over in your Skyrim folder. Loose files will overwrite the BSA.

Yea it's weird as hell. I can't find any left over files.

Thanks anyway.
