Whew. A shower, dark coffee and an hour spent killing things in a game and I suddenly feel a bit better. :)

Alright, I'm going to try one more thing with the religion. If it doesn't work, I'm going to probably incorporate it with either the jewish or pagan group of religions (I'm positive that it's the fact that I tried to create a new religious group that's the issue, not that I made a new religion).

I flip flopped a few times in considering where to put it if it comes to that. But her origins are all heavily linked to the Old Testament and they were expanded upon by the Jewish Kabbalah. If that doesn't test out well, then I'll go with the Pagan group for placement.

Well fallout 4 is coming out in couple weeks. And most of us will be playing that, I assume.

Will you be doing any sexual mods for that game Dew? Would be interesting something like Dark World in fallout.

Edit: Also you've done an amazing job so far. Dont look too much into the things that went wrong and so on. Because the stuff you've done so far. Outweighs the things that didnt work how you wanted to.

I'll definitely be playing the hell out of some Fallout 4.

I've done some mods for Fallout 3 and New Vegas, although those with sexual content were never in a complete enough state where I felt them worth release. I think the only mod I've actively in circulation is a level cap mod that pushes it up to something like 100 or 200 that's up on the Nexus. I still plan on finishing one that I began work on and then set aside. It was Fallout 3 & NV, using the Tale of Two Wastelands mod that combined the games. The mod I had started had you being able to rig the election in the Republic of Dave in Fallout 3, where you could win it. That part was done. The rest was going to be some upgrade options for the location, while making into a harem of sorts since Dave already had two wives and an older daughter that would be a good starting point. Then I'd move those folks I liked from Megaton over to it before blowing Megaton up. Big plans but only the very early stage was done. I had the means of relocating folks, but I needed a home for them. Using those mods that set-up custom home markers don't seem reliable in FO:TTW, but I figured by making a place specific for them that I could fix it by replacing their scripts to move about the new location.

I usually wait until I've completed a play through before I start to try modding things, so I won't know for certain what I'll do to Fallout 4 until I get my hands on it.

Here's sincerely hoping you'll continue development of dark world. For a 'porn' mod, it's actually got more features then most actual CK2 mods. Never give up hope dew.

Best of luck to you!  I'm currently being distracted by the new Guild Wars 2 expansion, myself.

Hope you find what's going wrong.  I did a little poking around the CK2 Wiki to see if there were any indications of what might go wrong when modding in a religion.  The only thing I found was a page about how setting up a Papacy for a religion requires tinkering with the UI files a little, or you get a crash to desktop, but I have no idea if that's what your problem is.  Might be worth asking around at the Paradox forums -- there's people there with way more mod experience than me.

I've poured through the wiki and some other threads and don't see anything recent regarding my challenge. And it seems most folks are seeding religions within one of the existing groups, which when reading the wiki, you get the idea that you can create your own custom religious group - which hasn't been successful at all.

I just did a test with the group seeded within the Jewish faith group, and it worked much better. Part of the display still seems like it isn't reading things correctly, but at least this time it actually tracked my holy men.

Interestingly, that's the exact same problem Paradox themselves had for like a month after they added Messalian. No idea what the cause was or how they (eventually) fixed it though, unfortunately.

I'm impressed you got it to show priests - I tried to do that when I made myself a mod to add a papacy and cardinals to Cathar, but I couldn't find a damn thing that even looked like it might affect priest display

That looks like a problem with landed_titles. Did you add a title for the religious head, and add holy_site = to counties?

Yes to the religious head and holy sites.

landed_titles from what I can tell only comes into play if you specify a religious head. That wasn't working for me (even when I just straight copied the orthodox religion), so I tried the pagan path which has no landed_title entry until the religion is reformed. So Lilithian is an unreformed religion, that doesn't get a head of the religion until you obtain a trio of her holy cities (which will be challenging since she traveled a I spread them out based on different reputed locations she visited in various lore). Then the lilithian_reformed religion has the actual religious head.

In trying the pagan no-head until reformed route, I simply copied the Norse pagan entries. No luck along, but when incorporated into an existing religion group it's showing signs of life.

I'm going to move everything now over into the pagan group and see what it shows me compared to what the jewish group did.

It looks like we've a winner in the pagan group.

I've not the patience to play it through to reformation, so who knows if it'll work correctly when it reaches that point, but for right now it's at least semi-resembling what I'd expect.

Present change log for the next update.

v1.00
    - Added: Unique religion Lilithian, for those who travel down the Succubus event line.
    - Added: Enatic-Cognatic and Enatic succession possibilities.
    - Fixed: A missing localization for the female slave blowjob event and tweaked some other entries.
    - Fixed: Fenris and Vladimir should no longer hunt if they're a prisoner.
    - Fixed: Small error in the alchemy breast enlarging potion.

I'll probably add a couple events and release it tomorrow night or Wednesday so folks can slap the religion around and see if there are any major flaws discovered.

Been using your mod for a few days now, and I've tried filling out the missing trait icons.

I've only done the breasts so far, as the penises are not satisfying me quite yet. :P

The victim icon also received a push, so that it fits better with the other icons.

I've also restructured the interface .gfx files, so that the breasts and penises are placed together in the filename structure.

Dropbox: Dark World Traits Icons.rar

I'll update when I do more icons :)

NOTE: picture taken with HIP, RAW and Trade++

I'm not aware of any missing.

Ops, I guess I rephrased myself wrong, as I had in the beginning removed nada.gfx by accident when I made the mod work with HIP, so for me the icons didn't work.

(Custom character portraits doesn't work with HIP, without modifications)

So basically the traits are changed from initials to illustrations, but the penises still needs some work.

Personally, I like the simple clarity of the lettered icons, but to each their own.  Leaving your new graphics available for people to mod the mod with if they prefer doesn't seem to have any downsides.

Yeah, I think it's really neat that Norfag took the time to tweak it to his liking, but my preference too are the current images that are already in use. Still, like you said, it's neat that he shared his work for those who may also be interested in trying it out.

Thank You for Your hard work, it's a really great mod!

But I have 2 questions about Lilithian faith:

1. Why am I loosing piety when sacrificing as Lilithian?

2. Is this normal that incubus gained from Lilith have Messalian faith?

1 & 2. Because it's still set to check for Messalian. I'm certain there are a few places like that which will need to be update due to the new faith.

Also Lilithian have negative view on whores. I believe its  hardcoded to just "church" opinion, but since pretty much you'll be  the only one building brothels. Might as-well change that into positive. Or perhaps make it where only Lilithian faith can build whore houses? What do you think dew?

No. I've seen other rulers build brothels, so I'm not messing with restricting brothels at all.

And I don't see it a huge issue overall rep wise. If you're playing a succubus who's also a whore, your bonuses are going to far outweigh the minor hit in rep that you get for whoring.

The general populace, they should struggle with the negative reps as well. Read up or talk to those in the adult entertainment industry. It's pretty dark and not the kind of place where everyone's giving group hugs. It's competitive, full of drama, and can erode long lasting relationships. Those that find a way to whether the storm are those who in game terms become exclusive whores, which avoid a lot of the negative opinions.

The mod is called Dark World. It's a game of vice and death. Not rainbows and unicorns. The Succubus is already powerful enough to border on it being a cheat mod (although I've succubus hunters and more Claire work planned to keep it challenging).

And if you think my opinion penalties are rough, they're about half of what they used to be in the original nadamod.

Its not that I think they are rough. The reason I brought it up now though. Is I thought that lilithian faith was more welcoming to whores. Thats why it looked out of place with the negative opinion.  And I wasnt just talking about from a players perspective of being a whore but in general.

Edit: But since I was wrong, its cool mate. It makes more sense now. Was just a misunderstanding on Lilithian faith.

I'll post a v1.01 tomorrow that has a better sweep through the events and some of the localization in an attempt to reflect the new Lilithian faith over the previous Messalian one.

Yeah, I noticed a couple of places Messalian was still referenced in the localization (most notably in the sequence where Lucifer converts you), so definitely worth looking over.

Only had time to try the new setup briefly, but so far so good.  It's a lot harder to get off the ground as a pagan, I think -- you can't demand conversions, and your chaplain has a minuscule chance of converting anyone.  You're going to be the only Lilithian in the world for a good long while unless you spam courtier creation decisions.  On the other hand, I haven't played pagans a lot before, so I may be missing some tricks.  Already trying to think of what the best way to reform the religion would be -- Haarlem and Salisbury are relatively close together, so a start that controls one of them might be able to conquer the other, but then it's a long way to Bethlehem.  Though I suppose it's moot until you've had a chance to flesh things out some more and get the actual reformation set up.
