Would it be possible for an option to choose whether the quest targets/eligible NPCs are male or female to be added? If it's too much work, then don't worry about it. So far, I haven't run into any major issues with the mod other than the NPC approach chance settings being ignored by the game.

I found some (fairly) minor inconsistencies that had survived into the 3.0 version, and I didn't see them in the change log or other reports, but if I misread, feel free to ignore this.


 


- The giant quest doesn't appear to have a cancel dialogue option, the "This sounds too dangerous" line. If I talk to the innkeeper after receiving the quest there's only the end-of-the-quest line, which, judging by how it was in RP Tweaked, doesn't get rid of the spawned NPCs, so the number of giants and farmhands doubles every time you "decline" the quest. Also, the farmhand gives the impression that both spawned giants will require two rounds to exhaust, but I've never seen them last more than one.


 


- When talking to the hostler in the horse quest, if you say you like grooming horses and he mentions there's an extra task, you're linked directly to the acceptance topic where you ask for the bucket, even though there's been no mention of buckets. Didn't get to the Jarl scenes this time around (not enough creature experience I guess), but I remember that it being stuck in a loop was an issue in 2.x versions as well.


 


- One of the orc wives in Dushnik Yal gets wenchified by the mod because she wears tavern clothes. It's hardly game-breaking, but it's a bit odd being called out to Dushnik Yal to relieve a tribe of ostensibly sex-starved orcs when they have an in-house wench at their service, and she is supposed to be the chief's exclusive property. I remember Mogrul the money lender in Raven Rock being another NPC struck by Accidental Wardrobe-induced Wenchification (AWW), but I suppose his case could be considered more of a feature? :D


 


In any case, huge thanks for all the work, o patron saint and saviour of abandoned mods. May the ground you walk quake as you pass.

Home Service: The old quest available in earlier versions of RP. Can have a single client, or client plus guest.

 

Home Visit: Same quest as above using a single client, but midway through the act, one of the client's friends shows up with another prostitute, then it turns into a bit of a competition, where the two perform side by side. You can walk out of this job with double the reward, or nothing, depending on your luck.

 

Home Gangbang: House is having a bit of a party. 4 clients total, 2 at a time. This is just something I made to make use of the larger selection of threesome animations.

 

 

Home Delivery quests never start at the Old Hroldan Inn, probably because it's in the middle of nowhere. The only possible place that I can think of, which is close enough to the inn, is the miner's house at Soljund's Sinkhole, maybe something can be done to include that house because the mod currently doesn't seem to use it. If that's not possible, it would be best to exclude Old Hroldan Inn from Home Delivery quests.

 

A lot of inns in the middle of nowhere have this problem (Nightgate Inn is an example, if I recall), there isn't really a way to include stuff like Soljund's Sinkhole without causing new problems for locations that do have valid house targets. And making Old Hroldan Inn an invalid location for home jobs isn't exactly fair to people with mods that expand these small inns into towns that do add new houses for RP to select.

 

I think it's best for the player to just use common sense here: if you don't have any houses near the inn, just stick to the other types of jobs.

On another note, this may have been pointed out already, but I've noticed even if the chance for female on female is set to 0 female NPCs will still approach your character, not sure if this is true for males as well though.

You can do this for simple prostitution with MCM settings, but I'm afraid the quests are hardcoded, as they were designed with a female player character in mind. Changing it to support both isn't impossible, but more effort than I'm willing to spend on it at the moment.

I looked at the code and also tested it in-game. It's literally not possible for you have gotten HomeVisit two times in a row, let alone four, unless the other two quests are somehow not registered. RP's MCM should say there are 9 quests registered, if not you might want to make it recheck.

I have not gotten it 4 times in a row, but I got it twice, one after the other. Thats when I stopped doing HD quests for a bit, just did regular postitution stuff.  Btw, what is your base mods advancements in the questlines set for?  My MCM is set at the base 5 but I have done over 50 jobs and only gotten up to the military camps, no randoms.

I'm glad someone picked up this great mod, I'll follow how it evolves.

 

To be honest I mostly liked the food service+simple prostitution and I'd really like to see those going forward other than having other quests.

Ran into a minor bug that was nonetheless annoying. I did a home delivery for Giraud Germane and he had a friend with another prostitute and did the competition thing. That was all well and good (though my client count rose from 10 to 22 during that home delivery), but at the end of it during the threesome we were in bed, and the other prostitute got tossed out of bed at the end the wrong direction, and ended up inside the wall. I had to talk to her to get her share to finish the quest, and giraud kept automatically talking to me every 5 seconds. I finally got to her and moved her out of the wall, but it was still annoying. Main annoyance however was Giraud constantly force greeting me, the prostitute in the wall was probably a standard skyrim bug, so if the force greet can be set to just once then it should be good. Though moving NPCs out of walls somehow might be a good idea considering how many NPCs are active in this mod...

 

Are you using the ragdoll ending for sex?  It is highly NOT recommended because of issues exactly like that, it's a leftover from when it was the only known way to stop the actors from playing the sex animations.

 

 

No I never used ragdoll ending, she just got out of the bed on the wrong side that morning.

it wasn't in a row, i did use quickloads, but that's what i'm confused about, which was the disabled one and which is entirely new? the stranger with second prost was also available in the old version, as well as client with guest or single client. the gangbang one is the new one then. that leaves the disabled one?

Disabled one = mf_HomeVisit (stranger with the second prostitute)

 

According to my notes, mf_HomeVisit was not functional in RPT 1.08b, only mf_HomeService was. Either this was an issue only I was having at the time, or you probably know this quest from an earlier version of RP.

 

So, to reiterate, there are currently 3 variants of the home job, as listed here.

May I make a fairly (minor) feature request please - could you consider adding an MCM  toggle to disable the "I'm looking for a client"/"A client is coming my way" & the similar notifications for NPCs ("A wench is on a job" etc.).

I assume you want an option to disable JUST the text notifications, considering passive soliciting and NPC scenes can already be toggled off in MCM? Shouldn't be a problem.

I am so glad you have taken up this mod Wraith. It has been in my load order since the beginning, whether I have my PC sell herself or not. I do not use the home delivery often and none of the creature jobs, so I think I will enjoy the upgrade regardless. Thanks!

During the military camps quest, my competitor does nothing but sit by the fire and drink mead while i'm servicing the men, gaining my 100 gold bet effortlessly. This problem persistied in 1.08.

During the military camps quest, my competitor does nothing but sit by the fire and drink mead while i'm servicing the men, gaining my 100 gold bet effortlessly. This problem persistied in 1.08.

 

I'm guessing the home delivery was a random one-time glitch, did you manage to make it happen more than once?

 

As for the camp quest competitor doing nothing, I'm aware of it, just haven't tracked down the problem yet.

Your second screenshot looks like the Home Gangbang quest, which is supposed to have 3 strangers in addition to the client.

I'm running into a weird issue that I would have thought was a general Sexlab thing, but since it only affects RP interactions I'm confused: On regular solicitations I end up in an endless loop of forcegreets. Approach client and lead them off somewhere private -> sex -> tiny window to ask for payment before "Use nearby bed, y/n?" pops up again. Repeat endlessly, or until you force stop the animations.

Thanks for taking on this great mod! Always nice to have a fun way to earn money for my whoreborn character. Anyways, I'm wondering about the tavern wenches and how frequently they're solicited for services by other NPCs. I used to frequently get a notification back in version 0.81b "a wench is on the job" with a wench and an NPC engaging in a scene afterwards, the frequency of which goes down over time until eventually they're no longer solicited by any NPC anywhere regardless of the time of day. In version 3.1.0 I don't get this notification at all and only I can solicit the wenches. Was the frequency reduced to avoid problems or is this something in my end?

I haven't touched the NPC wenches system at all yet. Make sure NPC scenes are enabled in MCM, and disable NPC schedule too to see if it helps.

Does this version is compatible with Sexlab 1.60 beta 2b ? Because i have tested it with, and sadly nothing happend after choising dialogue option "Start striping and bend".

 

Anyone had this issue or is it my Sexlab beta version ?

As far as I'm aware, Ashal is making 1.60 compatible with mods built for 1.59c, so I doubt that issue has anything to do with the framework. I can tell you for sure if you provide the Papyrus log of that session, though.

 

 

Just test the new Sexlab 1.60 RC1 with your mod and all working fine now !  :lol:

Oooh, that did it. Too easy. Skyrim's finicky special snowflake nature means issues send me into a frenzy of "script errors argharghargh!" It rarely occurs to me that oddities might mean less imminent game meltdown, and more actual honest-to-goodness mod setting.*

 

That's for steering me in the right direction! :)

 

* I've played Bethesda games since Morrowind and I'm still amazed that mods are frequently more robust than their parent games.
