NPC acts like there is an enemy near, but there isn't ?!

I have spend a few hours pouring over the posts here, but I could't find anything regarding my specific problem. If it has been posted before, please direct me to the post (and solution!), thanks

 

So anyway, I have recently started a new playthrough of Skyrim, after not playing for over a year. I used to be well versed in troubleshooting, but at my age, things tend to fade a bit faster these days. The problem I am having is this: sometimes when I talk to an NPC (shopkeeper or quest person), they stop the conversation and start acting like there is an enemy nearby (draw weapon, fighting stance, etc). But there is no enemy in sight? After like 10 seconds, they snap out of fighting mode and I can talk to them again. But after each topic, the same thing happens...

I have checked the papyrus log, but I can't find anything regarding this. And frankly, I am stumped as to why this is happening. It is very annoying and takes way too much time.

I suspect it is a mod-clash of some sort, but I have no idea which mod(s) it could be.

 

So, does anyone have an idea which mod(s) could cause this? My loadorder/ modlist is under the spoiler.

Well, I think I found the culprit. I uninstalled Sexlab Sexlife and the problem went away (so far). No idea why it was happening *shrug*
