Advice on 'replacers' or 'added' content (pics within)

Hi all, just a quick question for you :huh::

I've just about finished a gigantic mod soon(couple pictures below), and wanted to know everyone's opinion about replacers or not...

My mod features all new models and textures, many of which are for new creatures.

Without manually placing a creature in the Render window of GECK, is there a good way to add a new custom creature to an existing leveled list?:dodgy:

For example: Gecko leveled list has different geckos, but what if i wanted to add a new Gecko? (Deathclaw gecko hybrid, Skeletal gecko, civilized gecko, whatever) How woudl I go about doing it so that when the player encounters a group of Geckos, maybe there will be a skeletal one or civilized one amongst them?:blush:

How about NEW leveled lists from scratch?

For example: in FNV there are many irradiated bubbling areas which have no enemies. What if I want to add a ''Spawn Point'' or something that when the player gets close, 1 to 3 new creatures may spawn, and those spawned are in relation to the player's level. :cool:

I can provide more pics of the new content if anyone needed. :rolleyes:

PrideSlayer has added a few new commands for Lists in his NVSE Extender V5, some of them might help you do what you want to do a lot more easily than creating a heap of lists from scratch.

A leveled creature is a template only and to get it in world you have to place it in world using the GECK. It consists of a leveled list containing actual creatures. If you want new creatures in your leveled lists, create a new creature then add it to the existing leveled lists to add to existing spawns or create new leveled lists and then place those in world where you want the spawns to be.

The way they work is that you create a set of creatures with their own formids. You create a leveled list and put the formids in that list and determine at what level each entry can spawn. To get the list in world you have to drop the formlist into a cell where it becomes a leveled creature spawn marker. You can do this with existing lists or make new ones. With an existing list you just need to add your new creature to the vanilla lists, the existing markers in world will now include your new creatures. With a new list you'll need to place new markers in world.

What astymma said.

If you want to add your own spawn points, you add your creatures to a new leveled list, and drag the leveled list into the Render Window where you want them to spawn. I believe you can flags the individual creatures to scale with the player.
