Does anyone know how to install the FNIS Behavior V5_5 Fix 1 on Mod Organizer?

I'm trying to install FNIS Behavior V5_5 Fix 1 on MO but, It just is not having it. I'm trying to do that "Set data directory" thing but, I'm having no luck figuring it out and I'm doing it so I can fix the lover's lab animations. Here's a picture so you can see what I'm trying to do. post-827002-0-15604200-1438775231_thumb.

I merged FNIS 5.5 and 5.5 fix 1 into a single package before adding the mod using gopher's method.

You'll have to install it manually, just right click on your FNIS mod, select open in explorer and drop the file in, overwriting the FNIS exe.

I'll try it.

I am far too exhausted to try and figure this out man...

Do what Randomtguy said.

But to clarify open the Mod Organizer, find the FNIS mod , right click on it and select open in explorer then copy the contents from the fix into that folder and you are done.

I can't do it. Either I'm too exhausted or I'm a massive derp who is missing something that's right in front of me.

If you are too exhausted then take a break.

If you are missing something there is an easier way.

EASIER WAY EVER: Download the fnis mod and the fix-> unpack both somewhere on the PC-> move the contents of the Fix Folder to the FNIS folder(copy&paste and overwite)-> compress the FNIS folder by rightlicking it->send to-> compressed (zipped) folder->Then Add the .zip/.rar into Mod Organizer.

DONE.

Downlad fix manually, unpack it and drop Tools folder to -> ...Mod Organizer > Mods > Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS and let it overwrite what it wants to overwrite.

Edit: Oh, didn't notice that Arhon replied as well. One of my browser addons may have disabled notices about thread getting updated while typing. Better to see which one. I also removed "personally" part above, because I thought it would be misleading for some users.

The only way I got FNIS to play nice with MO was to extract it and put it in my Skyrim\Data folder. I just overwrote the FNIS executable with the one containing the fix, and of course set up the FNIS executable to run through MO. Trying to install FNIS as a mod in MO has never quite worked out for me.

what I did:

- I downloaded the fix through MO as usual

- Then I located my FNIS mod on the left side, clicked twice so I can copy the name of my installed FNIS mod.

- Launch the fix:

-- at the top replace the default name of the fix with the one you copied so it will point to the original FNIS mod.

-- expand the folder tree and right-click on 'data' -> set data directory

-- click OK [ignore the warning: 'No game data on top level'], click 'Ignore' on the additional warning

-- now click 'MERGE' NOT 'Replace'

voila! [may look more complicate than it is when you follow the dialogs]

hope it helps

Yups, definately what JDough said. I am sure the other methods work as well, but why complicate things? This is what MO was made for, no?

It could well be a filepath issue. I've had thatva few times with Mo, use the filepath tab to check the main and fix files and make sure that they are the same.

When install FNIS, expand it like this

post-411749-0-75839500-1438829318_thumb.

then right click the data and "Set data directory"

After you install FNIS, make sure you enable it first at your mod list

After that, click on the Gear button on the top of MO and at the binary there, enter the path of FNIS you install

x:\yourpath\Mod Organizer\mods\Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe

then run the fnis from MO

This is how I install FNIS and works, Hopefully this will works on you too

Easier: in right window, go to "data" tab -> scroll to "tools" -> expand -> find GenerateFNISforUsers.exe -> right click -> "Add as Executable" -> ??? -> Profit!

Thank you. I was trying to work out how to apply the fix file to v5.5. Extract, drag and drop - should have guessed.

Here's a video that should help along with the one that's already posted, if you follow this closely you should have no problems.
