What's the difference between Devious Traps, Deviously Cursed Loot, and Devious Enchanted Chests?

Quick question: what is the difference between these three mods? I have them all installed but it's pretty hard to tell them apart. They seem to do similar or overlapping things and it can get confusing to figure out which mod is doing what. I just like looking in random chests and having bondage gear spring out and lock onto you.

Basically, Devious Traps sets out some rune spells that trigger Devious Devices events and Deviously Enchanted Chests magically springs Devious Devices on you when you open chests. While they're all good mods in their own rights, Deviously Cursed Loot does pretty much all of it (except the rune traps) and more.

Deviously Cursed Loot also has a bunch of full fledged quests, and includes optional features like:

* Gas traps that allow any enemies to assault you

* Townspeople assaulting you if you are wearing devious devices

* Integration with Skooma Whore, Estrus Chaurus, and a bunch of other mods

* A prostitution system, with optional bondage

and so much more.

DCL is one of the best mods around, it does everything and does it quite well.

Devious Traps adds in rune traps that depending on the dungeon, will either magically equip gear from DD to your character forcefully, or summon bandits to your location who will end up placing traps on you after they have their way. They are all hand-placed in select dungeons and usually the placement is quite sneaky and not limited to just the floor; you're going to bump into one if you rush in an affected dungeon, but if you tread carefully you'll see these runes and might be able to disarm them with a spell, arrow/bolt, or thrown object. The last time it got updated was in October, but the mod still works fine despite its WIP status.

Deviously Enchanted Chests randomly rigs containers (by default dungeons but can be configured to trigger anywhere) to summon either random DD gear on the player forcefully or activate Estrus Chaurus+ if you have it installed, maybe the goop and Dwemer machine animations as well with appropriate debuffs from being caught in either. Other than Captured Dreams support and being able to hand out key drops if desired, there isn't much more in the way of features. It still has a ton of MCM customization however, and personally I find its menu much more eye-pleasing than Cursed Loot's own. Gets updated less often since it already does what it sets out to do, but frequent enough to support newer features of other mods it can synergize with.

Deviously Cursed Loot is like Deviously Enchanted Chests, but has a ton more features and gear, and the effectiveness of the mod is more dependent on the player's arousal level. Such features include more consequences of wearing DD gear and items that are a lot more harsher than the average restraint. It has compatibility with many other mods compared to Deviously Enchanted Chests and gets updated more frequently than the other two mods, though will not activate itself if some certain mods are present in your load order such as Non-Essential Children.

TL;DR: Devious Traps can run with either since it only edits dungeons. No point in running the latter two together because they effectively do the same thing; it really depends on whether you want the extra stuff or just the container traps. Read the descriptions of both mods and see what you want.
