Problem with Death Alternative

After around 2 hours of debugging I finally figured out what was wrong - the load order... apparently. At least after fixing it the mod started working properly - on new games.

 

The question is - is there a way to restart death alternative completely on my already existing game? Without it I would have to simply abandon the game at this point, apparently. I tried turning it off and on, and loading the location, but nothing seems to help. I need to reinstall it on the existing save. Any suggestions?

Were you having CTDs soon after your character went into bleedout? If so I also have this problem, do you mind sharing the load order that's working out for you?

It was not CTD. It simply that bleedout did not kick in - there was no bleedout bar and I had the default skyrim bleedout, instead of the overwritten one from DA.

If your character is just sitting or crouching,

and nothing more happens (no bars or anything, ihud installed?),

maybe u need to  press a-d-a-d-a-d-.... fast and the pc may stand up again.

You might need to uninstall Death Alternative, load your last save, save, open that save with the Savegame Script Cleaner, remove every death alternative script, save the save game (make it a copy as it may kill your save), run the game, load the save you just made, save again, quit, install death alternative, load the last save.

I tried it. DA started reinstalling again but apparently the save cleaner did not delete all the data since when it installed the settings were exactly the same as before.
