FNIS 5.5.1 Fix installation?

So Im having trouble installing FNIS 5.5.1, im using mod organizer. How do I install it ON TOP of 5.5? Thanks!

I think that when prompted to upgrade over your mod, you don't do that. It will deactivate your FNIS. Instead you copy it manually, treating it as another mod.

 

You can always copy it manually over the Data folder in your Skyrim folder to avoid further conflicts.

In MO you should just install it then place it (in the left pane) after what you want overwritten. But if it's a complete mod just remove the older version and install the new one. Be sure to run FNIS_for_users afterward to avoid possible issues.

Thanks! I'm having trouble installing it with mod organizer. When I try to set data directory... I cannot get the looks good, go ahead to install? I've tried messing with the file tree.. but alas I end up with overwrites, and when I delete them I get a message.. Your version of FNIS is out of date..
