[DOA5LR] Nyotengu Nude Remix (1.2 Update)

Due to me being unhappy with the current options for NyoTengu, I bring you...
NyoTengu Nude Remix!

 

 

TMC Files for the people that want their own combination:

(001 and 003 are Black wings, 002 and 004 are White wings, use the following hair styles: A=2, B=3, C=4, D=6)

DLC Pack for the people that have trouble making their own (or the lazy):

(uses Costume slots 30 and 31, Black wings version has bush, White wings is clean shaven)

Most people know there are a couple of NyoTengu nude mods already, so why make a "Remix" version?
(please note I am NOT complaining about their contributions to the Modding Community! in fact Mr.Mojorisin and Erundil gave me the idea to do this and without Harry Palmer's work we'd have nothing so I owe them a great deal of gratitude, but these are my personal opinions of the other versions and why I made my own)

The Problems with Harry's version:
No Wings - about half of NyoTengu's moves require her to fly and the game makes a flapping sound we can't disable, so it is to awkward without them.
Nothing in Hands - any time she is in combat one hand appears to be holding something that isn't there, which again seems strange.

The problems with Mr.Mojo's version:
Strange Shadows - there is some broken shadow play, like my Hoddie Mod suffered before I discovered a work around.
Lack of Choice - no options for with or without bush and no options for wing colors.

This set brings the wings back, gives her something to hold, uses Galhound's amazing textures, has fully working shadows, gives you a choice of wing colors and bush or clean versions.

Permissions:
You are welcome to re-use these in your own creations, and re-post these on other sites I am not a part of, however you must credit me and those I credited for the mods I used, and you can never post the downloads behind any kind of pay wall or survey for access.
In short, keep them free to get at without any tricks and give credit to myself and those I give credit to.

 

Version 1.2 Updates:

-Upgraded normal maps for maximum quality

-Moved the Costume Slots to 30 and 31 for better compatibility with clothing mods and new official DLCs

-Made slight adjustment to Mesh so that shadows work 100% of the time (was 95%+)

Seems like there are some issues with shadows when using these tools.  It's cool that you were able to fix them.

You can try fix floating issue by adding shoes or scaling legs. And add a little transparency to feathers would give a better visual appearance, my humble opinion.

Looks very nice! I noticed some small things when she gets dirty for example around the neck. Nyotengu with wings is a definite must and I appreciate your attention. Awesome work!

It seems the shadow's data is linked to a random mesh in the set, so as I play around with the TMC tools (and my beginning of Blender use) I simply leave 5-10 vertex in that will never be seen in the final creation on all meshes (often due to being hidden in the body or clothes that are left) examples would be body_0 leaving in 1-5 or Body_5 leaving in 1045-1055, etc.

Harry did amazing work on his nude meshes and Mr.Mojo did a great service by showing me the possibilities, I'm just glad I could get a closer to fully featured Nude Mod for Nyotengu out, I make no illusions of grandeur, I'm sitting on the shoulders of those better than myself and just lifting the work a bit higher.

I love your Mod (as I said to Cyric just above) and without yours I would have felt it out of reach, while I did not use your mod in this one I did look at it closely in-game to give me inspiration for what I was going to do.

Yes I know the simple baton is a bit blah, feel free to take this mod and make an "ultimate" version with tons of options if you wish, just give credits (duh) or feel free to post a wish list to make this better and when I have the skill I'll try to make it happen (or we could work together!).

Thanks for the tips! really appreciate them, I will see into adding a bit of transparency to the wings but I'm not good enough at mesh work to scale the legs up as needed -yet-, I will see into adding a with shoes version but no promises on when it will arrive.

Actually the shadows seem dynamic and change based on what is worn or attached (or lack of), but their "anchor" to rather they exist or not is tied to certain meshes, for example body_2 might make the change from shadows to be a value of 1 (being seen), rather than a value of 0 without it (being gone), etc... weird I know.

Sweet, then here it is! When adding her in DLC Tool, you have to put the hair styles in this order for the hair not to clip through her mask:

A - 2

B - 3

C - 1

D - 5

E - 4
