Skyrim at 60hz on 144hz monitor?

I was looking at a Realvision install tutorial and that person mentioned only having Skyrim run at 60hz refresh rate as you'd get errors if you went higher. Is that true?

60 fps, yes. Above that physics and scripts begin to bug out.

Either enable ENB's frame limiter for 60 fps and disable V-Sync for both Skyrim and ENB, or change your monitor's refresh rate to 60 Hz and keep V-Sync enabled.

Okay, thanks I was so unaware of that.

Well, it does kind of mean Skyrim is in an unplayable state because of a game breaking bug if you just cluelessly bought Skyrim and have a monitor with a refresh rate higher than 60 Hz.
