Troubling Banging or booming noise in game

Has anyone here experienced a strange, regular banging or booming noise in game. It sounds like a distant cannon being constantly fired. If so, how did you get rid of it?

Look for the noise suppressor on TES Nexus.

It's called "CIDnothump" or something. There's versions for MMM, FCOM, OOO and many of the mods.

"Friend". Friendship is what seems to be developing here for me with several folk on this forum. I'm pleased and proud to be in such company. I don't choose my friends on the basis of complete agreement. I enjoy the differences in culture and views - it makes life more interesting. To be able to agree to differ and at the end of the day to not only tolerate but to agree to differ and sometimes have someone give one a contrasting opinion is meat and drink to me.

Awesome. Yes, I am opinionated...but I try to remain respectful. In this life, we all just want to be happy (at least I do hehe). There's no reason to stay upset over misunderstandings and differences of opinion. I truly have found an internet home on this board and as far as I'm concerned, you guys and gals are my roommates/friends.

Duke Patrick created a beauty here. It seems to be fairly universal and no problems.

Ultimately you put me on the right path after all as I wouldn't have known where to start. Hope this thread is useful to anyone else with the same problem.

BTW, I think the term "opinionated" is something applied to a person. Usually just because they are strong in their convictions. I think that we live in a world that expects us all to be bland and without character. It attempts to grind us down a little more each day, attempting to make us all "good little robots".

The good thing about being "opinionated" is that you have an opinion.

Be proud of that.
