Oblivion isn't opening correctly, help :(

I think I've messed up Oblivion, but I'm not really sure how.

Just done a fresh install few days ago, been adding mods past couple days just got to adding the XEO's.

XEO5,XEO,XEO4 - Oblivion working.

I decided to remove all the XEOs - Oblivion still working after this.

I reinstalled XEO5 - Now the problem!

When I open Oblivion it doesn't open, I can hear the menu music load up and if I press ESC I can hear it go to the main menu.

However I can't actually see anything even though I'm obviously in the game, all I can see is my desktop!

So I removed XEO again, but the problem remains.

Help? :( How should I go about resolving this

Your probably missing master files that's why oblivion don't want to launch.

Open Mod Manager > Utilities > New Conflict detector.

It should show you which masters you are missing.

I just tried opening Oblivion in Fullscreen mode rather than windowed - & it seems to work.

It just seems to be windowed thats the problem - which I've always played in.

So I don't know if I've somehow damaged the way it opens?

When I check conflict detector how does it go about telling you if your missing anything?

I see some files in red, is that bad? o_<

Red = mod with mod conflict (most of time they are "harmless " )

If you don't get any message about missing masters while scanning then it seems to be ok.

You can try to remove oblivion.ini (my games folder, make copy first ) then use launcher to restore default settings and try if it will launch in window mod.
