As a very, very crude workaround to the item equip problem: How about adding an "add item" debug button in MCM which fires the item equip function once? Would be hell of an upgrade from adding items per console as of right now. ^^

 

Did 12.0.1 not work?

 

There IS a add item debug button half way down the debug test button list on the right side, it calls the same function but doesn't turn itself off. Turn it on, wait for the cycle to repeat, then you can turn it off manually (I left it auto-recycle since I wanted to test lots of stuff in 12.0)

 

Do you not see it? Dirty upgrade without save cleaning DEC from the save can cause MCM to show the wrong options

 

Edit: Should be called "Add Item test"

 

I mean it is sorta my fault for making the tool tip for those test buttons a generic non-tip, because I'm too lazy to change them every time I change those buttons

Can I take your silence as confirmation that 12.0.1 fixed the items not being equipped?

 

Does anyone have another case for replicating the approach bug?

 

While trying to figure out what might be causing the bug it disappeared, it's not triggering for QAYL anymore, I don't believe any of the changes I made could have fixed it, probably a fluke, but I want to be sure if any of you guys have a better way to replicate the bug.

Great mod!  Thanks for all the hard work getting this to us :heart:

 

For whatever it's worth, I'm getting the approach bug too. My sex convos happen exactly as they should, I pick whatever responses, but then no sex actually happens; the NPC just walks away back to whatever they were doing before they started talking to me.  I've don't have (and never had) QAYL installed.

 

Also, I'm getting an "enslaved: devious cidhna jail/lostknife quests 1" message even though I've been done with those quests forever now and don't have any active ones.  Short of uninstalling Devious Cidhna entirely, is there anything I can do to fix that?

Huh, I thought I fixed that Devious Cidhna bug ages ago, but since I don't test a lot of this stuff maybe it's still broken.

 

And yeah, QAYL wasn't the only cause of this bug by any stretch, I've seen it pop up all over the place in all kinds of situations.

 

However, the no-sex bug you have is completely different. You're missing a fragment by the looks of it.

 

Here, put this in your install directory. I'm not sure why it wasn't in the release, but it'll be in the next one.

 

Edit: Can you do me a favor? Can you open your console (~) and type sqv DvCidhna_LostKnife and sqv DvCidhna_DaintySload? One of those quests are still running, which is why you're stuck in enslavement lock. If one of those is running you can type stopquest <Questname> to stop it which should free DEC back up.

 

I need to know which is the bad quest that failed to finish so I can write a better check to keep DEC from thinking you are still active with it.

Haven't had a chance to try 12.01 but before you posted it I recompiled those fragments with the same changes which worked for me. But there's a new dialog when choosing "my master would not approve" and you get the response: "Oh then maybe I can help prevent you from having sex if your master doesn't want that. Just let me...". = the fragment pf_crde_sexmasterbelted. Doesn't seem to do anything. I had a look over the function equipRandomBeltAndStuff() and don't see anything immediately wrong with it. 

 

As for the approach bug. For me it seems to be something to do with cursed loot. Not sure when/why it triggered but reinstalling DCL after it happened got approaches working again without touching DEC. Also, this might be related. Try adding DCLs slave collar with the console. Go to a busy place (inn). Make sure approaches are working first. Then equip the slave collar. Approaches were still active in the console but npcs were not approaching for me. But using DCLs "Free Me" got things working again.

Lastly a suggestion. How about tying in with Sexual Fame Framework and More Devious Quests. I haven't used SFF yet as it's in it's infancy. MDQ has a "slave fame" counter for each region of skyrim that increases when the PC is spotted having sex in Devious devices but decays over time. Maybe approach could be triggered by fame alone even if not in a vulnerable state ;)

Huh... I didn't test it, don't remember if it was actually working, but I'll add it to my list of things that should get tested.

 

Edit: The fragment pex was there right? You read the source but was the compiled version in the folder below?

Should be easy to fix.

 

I wouldn't call these stack errors though, just errors/warnings that prints the running stack for that error scope for debugging purposes, the stack itself isn't the problem. If you see an error where DEC actually hurts the whole stack, like a stack dump with more than 5 CRDE frames, that would be much worse, and only seen once with a save clean fixing it.

Yea, Versh has discontinued updates to MDQ. But for now it is more 'complete' than SLSF. Thought the systems might be similiar though. Really all I'm waiting for is for MDQ dialog to get ported over to SLSF. I think he's waiting for someone with better english to do it but unless you're OCD about it the dialog seems fine to me for the most part.

Yea, Versh has discontinued updates to MDQ. But for now it is more 'complete' than SLSF. Thought the systems might be similiar though. Really all I'm waiting for is for MDQ dialog to get ported over to SLSF. I think he's waiting for someone with better english to do it but unless you're OCD about it the dialog seems fine to me for the most part. 

Wait, what are you decompiling with? That might be useful later.

 

But yeah, I gave recompiling a shot earlier and that fixed it on my end so shrug.

Also CWPotentialAllyFaction but it only has one dude in it, (I assume so he's still useful/not dead after the civil war - it has two ranks, imperial and the other one).

Ah, I only saw the one faction, figured it was used for actual soldiers only.

 

Good to know there are so many factions to check against.

 

I was going to use it to limit which belt you can get, thinking if you got a belt from a random NPC, and they belonged to one faction or the other, they would more likely have one type of belt to give you, but now that I think of it would they have extra belts lying around from the enemy and put one on you as punishment instead, in a spiteful "she's a traiter, belongs to them" sort of fashion, but I think there would need to be some negative feedback to that from unsympathetic NPCs and I'm too lazy to add that, and I don't think regulations adds it either.

 

If they are in GovFACTION then they are governement or high level soldier, no? Maybe I can assume they have keys default for unlocking you too on attack.

 

Edit: I need to try writing scenes out, it makes no sense for the player to SUDDENLY find themselves in many items without either a black out or magic excuse.

I would but I'd probably have to hunt you down, kick you off your PC, look around for the files, load them up onto a USB stick and wander back home to test. However it might be easier if you upload the files to the download section :shy:

Edit: I should point out there are lots of items I postponed to a later version, they exist in the MCM so translators can get started.

 

I'll upload the changes to the change log tomorrow, but besides the MCM options it's mostly bug fixes and workarounds.

 

If there are any more items you guys want added, now would be a good time to request them. Dasha is the only items I'm slightly against, and only because It erks me to see random NPCs carrying around something that looks too good (expensive) and willing to give it to someone they meet in the street. I was tempted to replace all ebonite with un-ebonite for the same reason, but then I would have to look at that stuff all the time.

No MCM with 12.1

 

Requests:

1) Can you change slider for enslavement chance for slavers in %, not a multiplier in next releases, please. Because there are lack of slavers in Skyrim.

 

There are lack of immersion, if PC with slaveboots have same vulnerability as collared naked tattooed wearing harness. I need to turn off nudity vulnerability, and use Cursed Loot functionality.

It will be good, if vulnerablity lvls will be expanded, for example:

1 = nudity or collar or boots

2 = (nudity or collar) + (collar or boots)

3 = nudity + slavetats (or collar) + harness (or boots) + piercings ----  maximum vulnerability lvl without blindfolds, gags, yokes, armbinder

Next with heavy devices can be like:

4 = blindfold or gag

5 = lvl 4 + something light

6 = blindfold + gag

7 = armbinder

Umm, gave 12.1 a go on a new game. No MCM & non of its normal console scrolly CRDE messages.

 

If interested PapLog from new game start. (subsequent paplog, i.e. after save reload didn't have any crde stuff in it, and no MCM or console message).

 

Anyway back to 12.01 for now.

 

I can't rule out that I didn't accidentally add a hard dependency, we've been here before with wolfclub and maria eden in the past where I didn't notice the issue because I play with the mod that was accidentally made a hard dependency.

 

But uh... that log ends right as the MCM menu initializes for DEC, did it maybe take a really long time to start and you closed the game before it had a chance to finish?

 

I use a SDD so I've always suspected that it would take longer, when it already takes at least 8 seconds on my end to start (needs time to finish loading data from all mods first)

 

Can you give me a load order and I'll try to find the exact mod that could be causing the issue tonight. Log says you don't have Cursed loot installed, correct? Can I assume you don't have force nude and prostituted collar's mod?

Sure, The effect is the same, slavers get a different number, it's just more direct without the modifier. Will change.

That looks as silly as what we currently use just spread out. I've been hoping to think of a less specific/static system, either something that allows certain items to add to the number in a way the user can set or a system where the user can set the effect per item, since there are less than 10 items anyway, combos would be the only issue.

 

Tell you what, if I don't think of anything better, at the least I'll spread it out in a similar fashion to what you have for next big release, something that makes it a little easier to specify levels of vulnerability.

Err, everything else had finished - went for a smoke and came back to see Immersive Armour scroll past, the last thing to init as a rule, (and after that it's usually sexlife notifications).

I do indeed use technologies of masterful speediness, however the init run still takes fecking ages for which I am accustomed.
