Played Oblivion with a full compliment of mods last night - the game worked fine.

Turned the game on this evening, and it no longer works. I made no changes, it just broke. Old saves, clean saves, new characters... doesn't matter. I restored old "Data" backups - no good.

I just want to say "Thank You!" for providing me with a few months of ridiculous fun - and for all your patience and help. I'm not re-installing the game again, though. Three times is enough.

This is turning into work, its wasting more time than I have available, and its no longer fun. I just want to play the damned game - not waste an evening figuring out WHY a game that worked last night does not work tonight.

Besides, Diablo III will be out next week...

Gotta make those backups! But hey I understand the a fresh install is a mountain of work. But I would also like to thank the community here, I've been lurking for almost a year now and just more recently made an account. I've never in my life found any other modding community as attentive and hard working as this one. It's an honor!

I broke down and re-installed. As pathetic as it may sound, I started dreaming of my girls walking through Tamriel, wiggling their bums... So sad I HAD to reinstall.

I DID have backups, but they didn't work, so...

I did a fresh install, my game was running fine for a few days. Then I download a mod from The Nexus that broke this new install. The Robert's Male Replacer OMOD. I should have stuck with the manual Robert's install...

OBMM listed the mod as green. When I activated it, I got about two dozen pop-ups warning me of conflicts. After navigating THAT nightmarish surprise, I ended up with good looking guys, but a lot of them lost their quest dialogue. Uninstalling the OMOD didn't help.

I've never had a Lover's Lab mod - even if it was a Japanese, Chinese or German mod - break my game. The Nexus does it frequently.

GregAtHit - you've always provided support above and beyond the call of duty. This place is a dream compared to the "big" one.
