Help, Please! I need to find the "Nordish" race for Oblivion...

I broke down and re-installed Oblivion. All of my old save games work just fine - except for one.

She was built on the "Nordish" race, and I cannot for the life of me find the mod that added this race to my game. I've gone through all of my companion and race mods, and I can't find the "Nordish" race anywhere.

By ANY chance, does anyone know what mod adds the Nordish race to Oblivion? I've searched Google and The Nexus AND my own computer - including my mod collection. Can't find the race. Some mod that I deleted must have added this race to my previous install.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

maybe you can make it, with a minimum of knowledge of how cs works... because that nordish race looks like something i made once, just swapped vanilla head for ren head..., nothing really that great, if you can put your savegame here i can try to transfer her face to nord-ren race and see if it looks like the pic

Oh a semi related note: Where did you get those stocks and what sex mod was in use (assuming that's where the 'im gona be sick' dialouge came from and it wasn't just a pose mod)

Thats just xlovers. Maybe New and Improved Animation Project? You can find it somewhere here in LL. Including that wooden rack.

Or that animation is included in wolfzqcustom too iirc.

I like her because she's a freckle-faced redhead. She WAS a special race, with special textures. I'll find her eventually.

Freckled face Nord? Have you tried the nexus? I remember there was a freckled version of some elven race. Alternatively, you can post the original textures here and we can make the freckles for you .

There's the 'Terimer' race of freckled Elves based on CapsAdmin's old freckled 'Lattamer' textures:

Maybe you can use these textures in combination with a XEO Nord to recreate your character?

could this be like the nord race you wanted?, at first i used the full texture of the freckled lineage elves... but as always the face was not really pretty if you catch my drift... so i went and changed the face for the freckled breton, and here you go, freckled nord beauty

In the Character Creation screen, the race was actually called "Nordish". I've just finished going through close to 100gigs of archived plugins (examining their file structures one by one...) and I cannot find one reference to a "Nordish" race.

I have NO idea where I got the race, but I must have unknowingly deleted it. I wish I had better pics of her - that one isn't very good.

Iris, I appreciate your suggestion and recommendation, but calling MY girl ugly after posting that pic, well... That girl just looks angry - and my girl had a much smoother dispersion of freckles and more of an innocent-girl-next-door look. Wish I had a better picture. She wasn't an elf.

Again: The race I made her from was literally called "Nordish". Not an elf, Nordish.

I thank you all for your suggestions, but I've given up on her. I just didn't want to have to restart Galgat's mods from the beginning.

pshe... hope is the only thing we should always have, and i said i used the freckle lineage elves textures, what you are seeing here is nord race, i just changed the headmesh and skin meshes... and then it hit me like a 16 ton safe box... you wanted a normal beautiful girl, and i said freckled face skins for custom race are ugly, i wouldn't even use them for the race they are intended for, well maybe the body, for the face i had better options... like freckled breton face, so lemme show you, new and improved nord(ren face)race... behold...

cute enough or i should keep working on it... should i use another face texture?

and sorry about the other one, my tastes in natural beauty always end in girls like that... no make up...and they look angry all the time due to almost constant quests where they have to kill stuff

I meant no offense. I don't neccesarily want a beautiful girl - just the one I had. I was walking her through Galgat's humiliation mods and she got quite far. My girls tend to be "normal" looking. Average.

I DO appreciate the recommendations - but I could never make another freckle-faced girl. She'd only remind me of my lost (virtual) love.... sob! Oh, my lost Nordish beauty. I have NO IDEA where that race came from.

I made a new girl. She has more of a middle-Eastern look.

Now that I've said ALL THAT:

The last girl you posted was pretty damned close - close enough to be her sister. I wasn't using DMRA, but this girl is very close. If her eyes were a little bigger and her jaw just a bit more square - you pretty much have her nailed.

That's a nice bit of work from the crappy screencap I posted. I am seriously impressed. You pretty well nailed her. I use F-Inev for the body and HGEC E-Cup (boring!), but damn - you nailed her.

so she was using the full set of textures after all... she looks more like a seductress than a girl next door tough...do you think i messed up somewhere with the race?, i'll make both to be sure... nordic for my savegame(included on the race package) and nordish for yours, just lemme know, i'll upload a modified version, for now you can haaaaave

But how do I load the .pluggy savefile? I have pluggy installed and working, but I don't know how to use the save.

easy easy... look into your My Documents folder, inside you will see a folder called My Games, there you will see another folder or folders in case you have more than one bethesda game installed, look for the one named Oblivion, right there is another folder called saves where all your savegames are stored, just place the savegame with the others, when you open oblivion again you will see that savegame, load it, and have fun, by the way, she starts with blades armor, i made renault use the normal lootable set instead of the unplayable blades set the tutorial guys use n.nU, you might want to resave because i have all lovers mods installed so the savegame recognizes just the ones you have, sewers is the safest location to re-save, for some reason the game doesn't crash there

I HAVE put the savefile there:

C:\Users\Gary\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves\Save 1429 - Christel - Sewers, Level 1, Playing Time 05.10.12.pluggy (Its a 7KB file).

I doesn't show up when I start Oblivion and try to load a game.

I'm NOT complaining at all - I really DO appreciate all you've done. I made a new girl, and she's so cute that she deserves to experience Galgat's (much appreciated) depravity from start to finish.

I can't use the save game, Iris. I get a message saying that you've included Lover's mods in your Bashed Patch - and the game freezes.

Don't fret that our games are incompatible - you set me up with a fantastic race that will provide me with dozens (more likely hundreds...) of hours of fun and depravity.

Small, final update:

Iris86, I got your save game to work by deselecting all my lovers mods and re-saving. Duh! I should have done that right from the beginning She's cut- thanks for sharing her!

As for my original girl, I have re-installed all the mods that Wrye Bash lists in her save file and none of them install the "Nordish" race, so I MADE a Nordish race using Iris' textures.

And now she works again. Iris - Thank you! You went above and beyond and I appreciate it.
