Companion Vilja, looking for similar quality companions.

I don't really care if they're a sex mod or not really, just trying to find some decently devolped companions.

Allready tried Ruintale and Valjenaro, to name some of the better ones.

you mean companions that include a full questline and the like? if that's so then you should try Viconia (her quest, the undertown or something like that), or the companion added by Bladesong... both are women tough

I don't nessacarialy mean a questline (Vilja doesn't really have one, just heavy backstory which also continues to play out slowly) as I do just plain well devolped.

I've been looking for one myself.

Saralith the Asian Companion seems promising, and its by the same person who did Viconia.

Though from my experiences with Viconia, she sure is an immersion breaker. Whenever she talks to townspeople she always says the same three lines over and over. Plus it seems that some of her audio is ripped from Baldur's gate.

You could give Red Sonia, as she is connected to a quest mod called Gates of Asegard.

Viconia is top shelf, the guy has a couple more that might fit your wish list too, though no where near as deep as his magnum opus. In the perv section, Sexy Maid of Chorral with the crossover mods(including CLS and some of the other companions) is fantastic. The mod for Eyja is good too.

A tag search by quest and companion, sorted by endorsements, will give you a pretty good picture of the more involved companion options out there. Almost all of the non-generic characters out there come with quest lines of some sort, if only to acquire them.

vilja was made with love and care, created not to be pretty but to be a companion, an actual companion who could share your adventures, be with you when things go ugly or get better, be supportive, but also she will show that she as much as you has a personality, cheerful, curious, on times powerful, other times helpless...i didn't care a lot about that till i downloaded her... neeshka is also pretty close to that... strangely enough... i feel better going alone, on times followed by those empty caskets i call companions... vilja makes me feel lonely, because she is way more human than i am, i feel better followed by skelletons, demons and ghosts...so, you tried neeshka yet?

Nesheeka update: companion (so far) seems to be no more than an essential backup/packmule characther.

Hey good news, there is a companion called Companion Fergus that was influenced by Vilja, so he has alot of the features Vilja has. I don't really like the voice acting, and I'd rather prefer another girl to go adventuring though, not to discredit his work.

Voiced or not, companions that actually interact with the player/world are where its at.

Ok I've found a couple more companion mods.

The first is the inanimate cuboid object known as the Aperture Science Weighted Companion Cube.

The next one looks nearly as intriguing, and the image below from the mod page has me intrigued.

Edit: Ok this one apparently adds god level spells/items, however they at least cost a lot (300k+gold for some of them)

is useful if only because one of the companions has a shop, and a LOT of barter cash, so you can quickly sell off all items.
