Prett sure none of those were period, but yeah with the exception of the Suigintou clothes mod (rozen maiden ftw) and the recolored dress mod those were all what I was trying to avoid

the question is what time period you want clothing from. Since Oblivion isn't really based on a real place or time, you could pick anything from the pax rommana to the Victorian era and call it period clothes. I personally think the stuff npc's wear looks like 16Th century wear but that just an opinion.

I actually agree, as much as possible they DO make it look like a mix of 16th century, with a mix of roman empire.
