Help with HGEC

Hi guys,

I'm very new to modding my game at all, and I tried to install the HEGC body replacer. The body replaces fine, and the nude skin seems to work when clothes are taken off...except the custom textures I downloaded and (thought?) I installed don't seem to work. Moreover, the nipples are blank, as is the pubic region - she looks like a Barbie.

Any help?

There are hi rez textures and very hi rez textures. your chouce as to which you download. Their are also hi rez face textures as a seperate file in this pack. just extract the archive and double click the installer, select the choices for each race (muscluar, oiled, nipple style, pubic hair style) and click install in the lower right corner. it will install everything you have selected. Makes nude body replacers very easy.

I actually did that, and it still didn't show up.

Poking around, I found a thread that mentioned ArchiveInvalidation. I followed the instructions there, and while the nude skin now works...it seems all of the Lovers stuff doesn't.

What's the race of your character ?

And did you install the body mesh correctly ? (check that by installing somebody size that you won't use but "different" enough to see the difference (AA>> DM)

a nude skin shouldn't have any conflicts with anything but character beautification mods or overhauls. Also lokerspk and its plugins sheouldn't stop working because you installed nude textures. There is something else going on with your install.

Sounds like the texture and mesh are not lined properly, I had that happen a few times, are you sure the custom texture is not for another body type?

I got it figured out, fortunately! Now I'm wrestling with MBP, so that will probably be next.
