sound volume

So I know I'm not the only one who thinks the volume is too high when sex starts, since there is the LoversSoundVolumeDown.esp file. However, it doesn't seem to work for me. I've tried it in different places in my load order, but no luck. So far I've put it between LoversFSE and Lovers with PK, which is where I think it's supposed to go according to the quick install guide, and I've also tried putting it above LoversFSE and below PK, but none of these things work.

Is it just broken, or is there some load order I haven't tried yet that will make it work?
