This looks to be another awesome mod!

But before trying it, I have a little question:

I already installed another famous mod: "Sanguine's Debauchery".

Do I risk some incompatibility problems?

No, there is no known incompatibility between Sanguine's Debauchery and Dark Investigations.

The mod itself is very stable, the only bug you will encounter is a vanilla bug where npc doesn't load new dialogue.

Often Irileth/Olfina doesn't display a new line about the investigation after receiving the letter.

Exit Dragonreach, save your game, quit and relaunch Skyrim and speak to her again. That should do the trick.

I just have finished the Prologue, and one word come to my mind: AWESOME!!!

Great introduction, great storyline, I just hope you will release the new chapter as soon as possible! I know it's really hard to program such a great mod quest, but now I started to eat, I'm hungry and I can't wait for the dinner!

Anyway, I have a few ideas for this prologue:

BIG SPOILERS! DON'T CLICK!

I think "the big fight at the end of the prologue" is a bit hard. Maybe you should advice to not begin the quest before reaching a good level enough. I'm far to be a great player, but my lvl 12 had some problems to win it. I was trying with Expert mode (I like to make my girl believe se don't risk to because a slave (sanguine's debauchery mod) and fool her...^^), and had been killed in 2 hits. So, I tried in very easy mode, and it wasn't still easy. IMO, I think it could be a good idea to totally strip the player character,with no weapon use, but with less powerful dudes to fight. A full strip is always better than keeping shoes and weapons on the back!

I hope there will be a forced slavery part in the future, Sanguine debauchery mode! (If people don't know that great mod, try it, you won't regret it!)

Just a little status update:

The first path of the next chapter is now finished (a path is a set of choices which leads to its own unique sex scene). However there are still several more paths to work on. I am considering releasing a first version once the first two of four paths are finished, in order to update the mod rather sooner than later, but I have not decided on this yet.

In any case while the jury is still out I think the new chapter doesn't needs to hide behind the Prolog in terms of quality, at least I am fairly happy with it at his point - except the somewhat slow progress in finishing it that it.

Also: I am still looking for a debugger/editor. Check the first page.

Fantastic news! I'd love to see the first path even now, no need to wait for two of them- altough you did do a great job on the brancing paths in the prologue and it'd be very interesting to see how it all plays out.

If you're happy with the quality of what's in chapter 1 so far, releasing a "lite version" of CH 1 wouldn't be a bad idea.

Personally, I think the branching options are the highlight of this mod, so I don't mind waiting.
