Requesting Modding Assistance

I've been trying to modify the Dungeon Explorer outfit for my own uses (I don't have permission from the author to redistribute) for the last few hours and I've been left totally stumped.

I've done minor editing of outfits in the past. Open it in Nifskope and delete what you don't want. I tried that and was left with a floating head. So I tried dropping the body I'm using in and I'm still left with a floating head. Here is where I'm at:

Neither the boots (I changed the boots to the Lady Suit boots found in Apachii Goddess Store 1.6) or the body is showing up in game. Can someone please help me?

Most probably a skinning and boning issue. Jay1646 is right, start over again and go slowly. You probably deleted things you shouldn't have...

Try this. I couldn't test it, gotta run. But I see no reason why it wouldn't work.

Remember to attach it to a hand/feet/upper/lower clothes/armor in TESCS. And make sure all textures are where they should be.
