@Ploms - I actually tried to do some skyrim armors a while back. I made a topic of it here:

Though, I didn't think anyone else had any interest. I was able to recently do the elven armor without really any issues. The hardest things to convert seems to be the gauntlets, like daedric lol (dam fingers). I did have some odd issues after skinning to BBB though.

It would probably be extremely easy if I had an oblivion skeleton posed into the skyrim position. I was using a reverse technique of that to port armors from oblivion to skyrim.

I'm sure once you got a perfect scene or pose for porting the armor, you could probably mass produce them. I lost a bit of focus on this due to trying to get the perfect OBGEv3 set up. Then again I use 3ds max. (blender seems like a pain for skinning ;p)

I see, I haven't been lurking much on LL lately so there might be a bunch of things I have missed.

Was planning to use the HGEC EBE light guts and maybe light guts body for the conversions.

Might as well just add my armor conversions to your thread if you want instead of having them in different threads.

Nice I like Light guts, but that's cause when I was playing skyrim I enjoyed ADEC. Light guts is pretty close to ADEC (converted a couple of slash's light guts from oblivion to ADEC).

Currently I'm converting most to DMRA, though there's plenty of decent bodies in oblivion besides that I find still very appealing. I believe I used to be a huge fan of the manga version of HGEC. Though its been a couple of years ;p

I wouldn't mind seeing some uploads on the topic I made; I figured nobody was even interested. I myself am on many forums, besides the typical nexus. VGU for instance I used to be pretty involved in.

I'm by no means even beyond an amateur in modding. Only released one official mod on the nexus, with the help of Acdale. If it wasn't for skin wrap in 3ds max for rigging armors, I'd be back at square one.

I was also thinking of doing the weapons, and if I can remember how make them SOB compatible. I was able to do that in the past without much modding experience.

Reason I was interested in skyrim armors, is because IMO they are a huge improvement over the previous games. I never also had the pleasure of playing FCOM or even OOO (which I am now).

So I'm trying to slowly replace some of the armor in the mod, to make it more enjoyable for myself. I was shocked to see that there wasn't some kind of polygon limit on porting to obliv as well.

The only thing I haven't figured out completely, due to how nifskope appears now (with the current skyrim update to it) is how to mirror the texture configuration from skyrim 100% (like some of the random things you find in the texture list of bsshader)

I think it's the nose - it's a tad too big, with the nostrils just a tad overlarge. The eyes may be a little too far apart, as well. It's a nice face other than that, though, and this is a matter of taste, after all.
