Normal Map Problem

So I'm custom race CM partners for personal use and I tried making a normal map for the new body texture. It worked the first time. Then the second didn't want to show its normal. After jumping through hoops, that now works, but the first one doesn't work anymore. Nothing I'm trying is fixing it. And yet, when I make a playable character out of it, the normal shows up perfectly. What's going on??
