Just throwing this out there, but this method of sharing characters is really flawed.

Just get on your character in Skyrim and pull up console (`) then type spf your-character-name-or-whatever-you-want and it'll create a *.npc file. If you share that someone can just open their CK and edit something like FemaleNordPreset13, change it to 14 and create anew formID, then import the facegen data, then open the Nord race and drag it into the female presets.

That way is much better since you should always start a new game with any changes whatsoever. Even if it's their earliest save you'd still have NPC's loaded without your custom NPC edits so they'd have the wrong weight and such and it'd be annoying to fix, and there's always rampant things baked into saves.

Anyways, that in mind... Just open up one of these saves people shared that you want and do the spf thing yourself and make an esp with all these presets from characters that you like. That way you don't have stuff baked into your save and such.

That's actually a really good idea, but I'm guessing a lot of people aren't proficient with the ck and this is easier for them.  Great idea for people who know how to use it though.

I've been playing around with Ningheim Race by Seren4XX.

I was using Sanhoshin's model as a base before, but I wanted to change it up a bit.

Aside from the race mod, I also used mature skin (CBBE). Which to my surprise does away with the neck seam quite well.

I'm also trying out the DH ENB (last two shots) that Sanhosin uses in most of his screenshots.

(Just something quick, so I didn't hide the UI or anything)

Really nice What's the armour on the last pic? It looks like Aradia's Leather Thief, but customized (the bottom part is sweet). Tried searching for this model, but can't find it anywhere.

The skin tone is fine tbh. It has a healthy, radiant, sun-kissed glow to it. Any lighter and she'll look like a zombie! Either way, she's quite the looker.

I actually really like her skin tone and how she looks. Her eyes fit her face well, to me, one of the prettiest character's I've seen so far.  Which make up are you using right now?

I don't think the skin darkness is asian. . . well, south or western oriental, Thai, Cambodian, but not asian like ppl think . . . korean, chinese, japanese.

 

It's also i think a bit orange. I'd say, in racemenu/ece (whatever you're using) slide the hue to the right about 3 clicks (towards yellow) saturation left about 5 clicks, and brightness left about 3 clicks. I think then you'll have the darkness you want without being orange.

 

lastly, her eyes are white american lady tiny, and IMO about 2-4 clicks too low.

HI guys,  even though I haven't been playing Skyrim for a while, I've been reading and checking modding forums like this one and noticed that some great improvements have been made to character creation, so I decided to give it a try and edit my character. 

 

I grabbed ECE and installed right away, without checking the compatibility list or how to install it, because I'm a fucking genius. Well, as you might have guessed by now, I royally screwed up. In the end I managed to make it work, but I would like to ask a few questions, I know this isn't the technical support forum but it's nothing gamebreaking and one is actually a aesthetic bug that affects characters. Don't worry, I will post a shot of my character and divide my post with spoilers, so you can just ignore the troubleshooting part.

 

OK, here's the deal. First, after I installed the new ECE and reloaded my game my characters face was horrendous. This isn't very strange per se, after all I changed the chargen so just used showracemenu hoping to check the new stuff. But instead, I had the same sliders, nothing new. I thought it was my fault (and it probably is) because I installed it over the new Race Menu mod and other incompatible stuff. But after trying some quick fixes I thought It might have to do with my character being a vampire, and that was it. So my question is, has anyone encountered this error too? not being able to use the new sliders on a vampire character? I fixed it setting my race to Nord with the console, but my stats might have gone FUBAR.

Now the second one, and this is something I've noticed on other's screenshots too. Does anyone know how to get rid of the shadow that the eyelashes (not sure about them being the cause) cast on the eye? It's only visible from some angles and it really creates a weird effect, can be very creepy because the character's eye looks completely black. When playing, I don't care, but If I want to take a screenshot there're some angles where this shadows appear and ruins the eyes, when taking a screenshot the lighting and the angle and position of the camera are very important, so it kinda sucks to be limited by this. Here are some screenshots to further illustrate the problem.

Since the face was completely destroyed after loading my game I had to make a new one from scratch, but to be honest I din't bother with the eye colour, hair or skin tone/make up and those thing, I just left them as they were, I will probably check those but first I have to finish cleaning the mess I created. 

 

I didn't have any good clothes so I just grabed a unp compilation, will have to do some research on that too, here it goes:

I've made characters more worth posting than this one but I couldn't be assed at the time. So here's something. Still tweaking skin tone and lip color. There's too many hairstyle in SG pack for me to pick a favorite.

Edit:

Changed things around a bit. Made purple less intense and got to a better lit room.

Also reduced her weight a bit.
