Realism mods

Which mods are recommended for realism? I wish for the game to be based as much to RL as possible so that I must eat, drink, sleep etc.

Just throw the mods at me and I will look though them.

Remember the more immersion it is the better. :D

My two cents: food/drink mods are a TAD pointless unless you also change the default timescale as well.

I'm actually using a timescale of one which should make game-time pass like Earth real-time (console command: set timescale to 1).

Serves me mainly to have enough time to stage elaborate (crowded) outdoor shots without being surprised by dusk/dawn which change the lighting conditions. When I need such a change of the lighting, I temporarily set the timescale to 100 (or 9001?).

As for immersion mod recommendations - the first would certainly be the classic, 'Basic Primary Needs'. There's also 'Realistic Health', but that one is messing with your vision by applying graphical effects for low health and disease status.

For changing the timescale, Auto-save and time by kuertee can do it dynamically, depending on where you are and what you're doing. (Along with a lot of other stuff)

There's mods that change the weights of all items to make actual sense (IE: no 40lb swords, even the big ones weigh in at realistic 4-5 lbs.)

They make the game less annoying in so many ways, the least of which is being able to not get overloaded with gear so easily.

Also, you need a level scaling removal mod, preferably a good one with a compatibility patch for OOO and other overhauls.

The improvement with thise is simple, ALL items are in stock from level 1, with cash being the deciding factor in what you get.

Also ALL enemies will spawn, the more powerful ones will simply be much more rare, and usually far from roads, which leads to a more realistic experince

And the good ones tend to also remove glass armored bandits, giving them a random selection of lower tier items.

Here are some:

Realistic Fatigue

Makes fatigue make sense.

Reneers Guard Overhaul

Stops guards from being psychic assholes.

Put it In its place

Really big and cool mod that's too big for me to explain. Go check it out.

There are also other mods such as VORB, all natural, immersive interiors, harvest containers, harvest flora, cava obscura, SM Combat hide, unequip broken armor, QQuix Rock rock rock your ship, finite ammo, Duke Patrick's realism mods (such as arrows can miss, hypothermia, actors are alterted by near miss arrows and spells, and more) as well as many more realism mods. All of these can be found at tesnexus and most of them can be found in the immersion section.

:)

It's essential realism bathing mods for oblivion. , maskar took over the old bathing mod and turn it into the ultimate bathing mod in the whole internet. You can watch bathing scene while your PC take a bath, it'll took several moments to wash yourself depends on how dirty and smelly your PC conditions.

Cava Obscura Less lighting makes the dungeons more atmospheric, scarier (at least to me) and makes torches/nighteye useful.
