[Oblivion] Can't Start New Game

Hey guys, I recently reinstalled oblivion and as usual I'm facing some detrimental problems with it. This time it's the fact that I can't start a new game.

When I try to about 30% in my game crashes. That's what's happening. I honestly have no Idea why when it was working fine yesterday. I did install some new mods but even after disabling them my game crashes.

So, what's the big idea? What do I do?

Well order load is a bit messy but not game breaking...ish.

If your using Steam try verifying your game cache.

I'm not using the steam version though

I'm thinking it could be a mod, but when I disable all mods I still get the same error.

Try backing up your Oblivion.ini and then deleting it after turning everything off expect Oblivion.esm and DLC and see what happens.

OBMM maybe can't access the files needed to crank up.

I actually changed where I installed oblivion. Last time I installed it to program files and this time I made a new folder outside of program files and installed it there. I deleted the old folders completely.

I think that I'm just going to reinstall the game and see if I can get the game to work again. Thanks for the help guys.
