It doesn't really matter how you install it. Load order wise, remember that the last esp in your load order "wins" and that mods cannot be loaded before their masters. Because of that, you will probably want to load the mod you are about to edit before Ploms' overhaul.

 

Now, go to wrye bash, right click the esp you want to edit, click Add Masters. Select Ploms' orc mod esp. Go to the construction set (extender is suggested as it saves you some work), and set the mod you wish to edit to active. Click OK and wait for it to load.

Worth noting that the normal CS will not allow you to set esm files as the active file. There is a way around it, but it's longer than getting the CSE so I won't explain it.

 

On your left, you should have a list. Under Characters you should have Actors, then all the races by name. Find the race you want and edit each entry to suit your taste (remember to change their race to Ploms' orcs).

 

Once you are done, save and exit. If you are not using the CSE, you'll need to load up Wrye Bash again and set Ploms' mod as master again.

Not a whole lot of NPC replacers that try to improve on the male NPCs' looks. The MBP-based one is probably the best you'll get, if you don't like Xeo.

It looks so nice.  Unfortunately, after I installed it and put it in the load order, the eyes disappeared again. :'( 

 

ETA:  Nevermind,  it was another mod removing the eyes this time.  This is working great!  The only issue I have no is I'm seeing neck seams.

Yes, you can use the CS to change NPC gender. Load up the mod, go to characters -> actors -> dremora.

You'll need to change each entry to the custom race used by that mod. Once you are done and are happy with your changes, save.

If you are using the normal CS, make sure it didn't strip the mod of it's masters (with Wrye). Add any that it did remove.

DMRA uses HGEC texture format.  Most all of the female bodies except UFF and Roberts do, so you are safe.

I there a mod that will allow me to give my vampire some makeup,  without having to use a race mod?

I don't really mind too much how my vampire looks,  as I made my character to look like me,  and I've managed to edit her in the race menu.  At first I was a bit bugged because she looks really white, no matter how dark I try to make her.  Now I've come to desire a more goth look.

 

I really like how Vampire Race Reloaded looks,  but I don't want to have to change my character from Breton to Vampire race,  and reshape the face,  and I don't want to change how Vampirism works in the game.  There is also a concern of mine that this mod would conflict with MBP.

Such standalone races don't conflict with MBP, rest assured of that.

Their resources are kept in separate folders, in the case of Bella races even outside of the 'Characters' folders.

 

As for your makeup question: In the future there will certainly be better solutions thanks to the 'Blockhead' system.

But right now about the only way to apply makeup to your character alone (and not to every NPC from the same race, even males) would be a custom copy of the Breton race with a unique face texture.

 

I can add eyeshadow and eyeliner according to your needs if you PM me the face texture you are using.

Or give me a link to the download. I assume it's no vanilla texture (looks too clean for that)?

I tried the Vampire Race on a separate save and it has no active effects, so it's a no go for me, but you're right in that it wont overwrite MBP.

Seems this is mostly just a cosmetic mod - vampire ladies in appearance alone? They probably even content themselves with tomato juice!

 

Though it's also not difficult to add (custom) vampire-specific racial powers to this race, we better take the route of making an additional Breton race with facial makeup. It's also because Bella races are using a completely different head mesh so you would have to tweak your face a lot, or even recreate it from scratch. Would be a shame because it turned out nice.

Is there a mod or some way to unlock the camera when you're riding a horse or sitting in a chair? The problem is that I can't see backwards when riding and I can't see the face of my char when sitting.

I know that the console command tfc can do it, but it is not the kind of solution I'm looking for.
