Khajiits/Orcs no longer make audible sounds

I've had this problem in the past but I've never found a way to solve it. Some mods that I've used have caused it (which had me forced to disable them, to my dismay) and it's happening again. Khajiits and Orcs (and I think Argonians) don't make audible sounds in any way. Not in dialogue to the player, not to NPCs, or just other none conversation remarks. Does anyone know what is causing this?

Posting your load order won't hurt. It would also be helpful to post the mods you installed that caused the voices to stop working.

The problem "could" be that some left over silent mp3 files for those two races might have been left behind. As you know, the game will use loose files over the vanilla bsa files after you archive invalidate at least once.

Not sure if you have this mod but the Hentai Mania (if you have it )mod sometimes tends to disable Audio Voices. I have noticed this a few times though meagerly noted when played.
